Classical Ballet Coach | Part-Time
Nicole has trained in classical ballet for over 22 years with well renowned teachers Tessa Maunder OAM and Marie Walton-Mahon OAM. During this time she completed all of the Royal Academy of Dance Examinations with high Distinctions and was a consecutive finalist in the prestigious R.A.D Isobel Anderson Awards, Bursary Awards, Society of Dance Arts, Winner of the Wenkart Foundation Classical Championship and Winner of the Robert and Elizabeth Albert Dance Championship. In 2014, Nicole completed her Classical Ballet Teaching studies, securing her registered teachers status with the Royal Academy of Dance. Since then, her teaching journey has spanned across prestigious studios in Australia and London, while also contributing her expertise as an adjudicator at elite competitions throughout New South Wales. Beyond her role in teaching classical ballet, Nicole is recognised as a TEDx speaker and holds certifications in Mat, Reformer, and equipment Pilates. Nicole has expanded her reach through her own app and a physical Pilates studio, HOUSE OF SCULPT.
The nuances between Classical Ballet and Pilates enable Nicole to tailor her teaching approach, prioritising injury prevention and fostering a comprehensive understanding of the body's mechanics. Through her multifaceted skill set, Nicole not only imparts the artistry of ballet but also instills a foundation of knowledge to empower and build strong, resilient dancers.
