Classical R.A.D Ballet
Classical Ballet is the most graceful and elegant form of dance. Ballet is an important base for a dancer’s technique and helps to promote correct posture and improve flexibility and athleticism.
Dance North Academy follows the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus.
Classes for 3-years through to majors.
Musical Theatre
Musical Theatre classes incorporate singing, dancing and dramatic skills, from musicals such as “Chicago”, “Hairspray” and “A Chorus Line”. The students will develop all aspects of performance and Musical Theatre.
Classes start from 10-years.
Tap
Tap is a fast, fun form of dance. It is a combination of old and modern freestyle tap dancing, from Fred Astaire to Tap Dogs.
Classes start from 6-years to adults .
Lyrical/Contemporary
Lyrical and Contemporary build on a strong centre and combine movement and fluidity with basic classical foundations, similar to the styles performed by Sydney Dance Company.

Hip Hop
Street style dance which is free, funky, soulful and a trendy expression of movement to the latest music.

Acro
Acro technique classes aim to include coaching on balancing, tumbling, partnering, flexibility and strengthening.
Classes from 8-years.
Jazz
Jazz is a fun, energetic popular form of dance and it is a great way to keep fit while dancing to the latest music. These classes also focus on stability, musicality, strength and flexibility in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
Classes start from 3-years to adults.
Mums and Bubs Classes
This is a wonderful opportunity for children from 2 ½ years to 3½ years to be creative in dancing with movement and music. This class introduces ballet and jazz styles and a very special time for the mother and their child.
