Alisha Douglass

Contemporary Choreographer  | Part-Time

Alisha began dancing at the age of five at her local dance studio on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. She continued her training at Dance North Academy in 2016 before commencing her full time training at Sydney Dance Company’s Pre-professional Year in 2022 for two years. Where she completed her Advanced Diploma in Professional Dance (Elite Performance) learning from many worldwide industry professionals. Alisha performed works by Rafael Bonachela, Gabrielle Nankivell, Melanie Lane, Jenni Large and Rachel Arianne Ogle. Alisha has also been a company member with Configuration Co in their 2023 season performing works by Victor Zorallo and Julie Minaii. She has also been involved with the ABC’s 50th Anniversary video advertisement, an installation at the Powerhouse Museum for the Carla Zampatti exhibition led by Omer Backley-Astrachan, Sydney Dance Company’s annual event ‘Dance Noir - Famous’ and a collaboration performance with Hong Kong Dance Company performed for their 60th Anniversary.
